![]() Honestly, Chaos 5-6 or Normal difficulty really makes no difference. And the clearing speed is insane with teleport on no C/D. Usually teleport + swing once, and move on, and ♥♥♥♥ just gets destroyed at mid level chaos difficulties. In fact, chaos 7 and under, I can just walk into packs, and they melt, I don't even need to use an attack skill, other than a phantom blade swing every now and then just to keep my energy up while teleporting around. So I'm doing a ton of damage by just standing near enemies and not even attacking. The residual DoTs, like the lightning bolts hit for big damage, I'm talking like 6-7 million damage on a crit, and the fire DoT aura ticks for 1-2 million, not including the burning damage which is also up there. Use Blade of Azyr, Phase Shift Amulet (+50% damage to enemies near you), Old Ring of Dexterity (+100% damage to energy generating skills, phantom blade), Ring of the Veil (50% damage reduction, you lose energy when you're hit, but it's manageable, dunno why more people don't use this, it's a massive survivability boost). Use the Phoenix Herald, and you got 2 residual DoT auras, the lightning bolts with the Bel-Korhadris set + the fire aura on the staff. I got a better build than that, does a lot more damage, has teleport with no CD, and is tankier to boot.īel-Korhadris set is Wizard's best set, and I tried to make builds for all of them. Moreover, it doesn't cost energy, so you can constantly spam the most powerful ability all the time. It provides best damage and triggers two sources of damage (magic and fire) at the same time with every hit. ![]() In my opinion, Blade of Azyr and its improved Phantom Blade is the most powerful weapon for Elontir. I need to say that the addition of Blade of Azyr and tweaking Relentless Sentinel staff introduced a stronger and viable build for, lets call it, static melee Mage. I haven't leveled any other class over Chaos 4 so I'll stick to High Elf only and the end-game for this class. I play Chaosbane on PS4 and reached Chaos 10 with my High Elf.
